The A2 Design Lab team was thrilled to hear that Lagim received another mention from Manila Bulletin, one of the top newspaper publishers. The Manila Bulletin Lifestyle section highlighted how the game strengthens relationships and connects generations. Lagim™ brings Filipino folklore to life with beautifully illustrated cards, featuring matte printing and gold foil details. The game’s design reflects exceptional craftsmanship.
Augusto Ayo, our CEO and Founder, led the A2 Design Lab team in creating Lagim’s stunning artwork. His vision celebrates and empowers original Filipino storytelling.

A2 Design Lab conceptualized Lagim, with Art Director/Concept Artist Cara Valdez and Head of Design & Strategy/Lead Game Narrative Aj Noguerra leading the project. A few months before the 2020 quarantine, the team introduced Lagim’s first iteration on social media. The community’s enthusiastic response motivated its full development into a complete card game.

Despite quarantine challenges, the A2 team remained focused on their vision. After seven months of design refinement and strategic planning, Lagim officially launched. Game System Designer Norbert Bae played a crucial role in shaping its mechanics. This collectible card game, inspired by Philippine folklore, showcases Filipino creativity.

Lagim continues to gain recognition from gaming communities, hobbyists, and major news networks. The unwavering support from Filipinos fuels its success.
