In early 2020, we began developing the Filipino folklore and mythology-inspired card game known today as Lagim. Despite the challenges of that year, the project became a platform to celebrate local culture and creativity. Augusto Ayo’s leadership and vision inspired the Fiction Minds team to promote original Filipino content and storytelling.

Lagim’s art style combines gothic, medieval, and folk art influences. The game’s craftsmanship extends to physical elements like dark soul coins and soul tokens. These features reflect ethnic symbolism and imagery found in local folklore. More than a game, Lagim is also an art piece that collectors and enthusiasts appreciate.
